COMING SUMMER 2023

A ONE-OF-A-KIND TOUR OF HISTORIC COOPERSTOWN, NY
Cooper’s Tour & Pour, the region’s first and only British double-decker sightseeing bus tour, will begin offering tours around Cooperstown and Otsego Lake in summer 2023. In addition to being the most exciting way to sightsee all the area attractions, it offers another unique feature—a rolling pub!
TOUR & POUR
Guests on the bus will be able to purchase servings of their favorite beers, wines, seltzers, soft drinks, and cocktails at Cooper’s Barn, home of Cooper’s Tour & Pour. Your drinks will be chilled on board in our coolers and will be available for your enjoyment throughout the duration of your journey. Grab your drink and a seat at the mahogany bar on the first floor or, snag a table on the upper deck and enjoy snacks and a cold beverage while gazing out of our massive open-air windows.

ALL THE ATTRACTIONS
Sit back and relax as we cruise through downtown Cooperstown and then continue by all the local attractions you’ve come to see:

Your journey will also take you all the way around beautiful Otsego Lake at the mouth of the Susquehanna River, where you can experience panoramic views sitting almost fourteen feet in the air. We’ll travel past Glimmerglass State Park, Glimmerglass Opera House, and Hyde Hall National Historic Landmark. A double-decker bus means double the fun! This all-encompassing tour guarantees you won’t miss a thing on your visit to Cooperstown!
HISTORY
This British 1964 Bristol double-decker bus served as a passenger bus until it was imported to the US in the 1990s. In 2000 the bus was outfitted as a “rolling pub and tasting room” to promote Hale’s Ale’s, a Seattle, Washington, brewery and taproom. Upon the owner’s retirement and sale of the business, the double-decker bus became available for sale.
Bob Snyder and Steve Mayhew, lifelong friends who grew up in Cooperstown, along with Bob’s partner, Trish Rost, and Steve’s wife, Kim, saw an amazing opportunity for the bus in Cooperstown. Bob and Trish currently operate Cooper’s Barn, a custom ice cream store that also provides food, beer, wine, and entertainment. Collectively, they knew that Cooper’s Barn would be the ideal home base for the bus and the perfect way to expand on Bob and Trish’s highly successful business and reputation.

RESTORATION
Over the next year, the bus will undergo both a mechanical and cosmetic overhaul to transform it into the most exciting way to tour the village of Cooperstown and the surrounding attractions in 2023.
